Mount Bauple & District  Historical Museum

Learn the history of the humble Macadamia nut and the many names that preceded it! 

It's how Bauple township got it's name, but the spelling has been known to offer a few variations over time!  Learn all about this delicious and versatile nut, of which our town is famous!  That is of course, if you can break into its shell....

Bauple Heritage Tour
A tour of local Historical Sites

The Bauple Heritage Trail acknowledges the rich historical foundations of our town. The self-guided tour is approximately 3.3kms in length, winding around the township of Bauple. There are 24 signs for you to explore with the map!

ADMISSION to the Museum

ADULTS - $5.00
FAMILY - $10.00
Children (12 & under) free when accompanied by an adult.

Museum will be open 9am - 2pm.
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.


Bauple Museum Gardens

What's facilities does the Bauple Museum have?

With Barista Coffee, teas and cold drinks available, along with some snacks and ice-creams.

Why not stop and enjoy the immaculate garden surrounds, with under cover free BBQ's, plenty of space to let the children run around and a playground.

Clean Restroom facilities are open 24 hrs a day/7days per week.

Run and maintained by volunteers

All fees and donations go to the maintenance of the grounds / free BBQ / toilets and the upkeep of items in the Museum.
